Eleven years on Gulf Shore Boulevard, one idea: give people enough time and care that they actually feel the difference.
Our story
Serein opened in 2015 in a quiet courtyard suite two blocks from the Gulf. Our founder, a massage therapist who had worked in resort spas from Sanibel to Sonoma, wanted a place where treatments were never squeezed into a schedule.
The name comes from the French word for the fine rain that falls from a clear sky at dusk. It felt right for a spa that tries to make ordinary afternoons feel a little rarer.
Today we have seven treatment rooms, a thermal suite, a private garden suite for couples and a team of fifteen. The pace has not changed.

What we value
We book fewer guests than our rooms could hold, so nobody is rushed in or hurried out. Every appointment has ten spare minutes built in.
Therapists check in about pressure, warmth and comfort, and change course without making it awkward. Your feedback shapes the session.
House oils and scrubs are blended in small batches from plant oils, Gulf sea salt and cane sugar. We list every ingredient on request.
Every therapist and esthetician is Florida licensed, paid a salary rather than commission, and given time between guests to reset.
Our team
Lead massage therapist
Isabel has spent twelve years refining Swedish, deep tissue and warm stone work. She is known for slow, patient pressure and for remembering exactly where each guest holds tension.
Senior esthetician
Camille leads our skin program. She trained in Paris and Miami, and builds every facial around a close skin analysis rather than a fixed routine.
Body ritual specialist
Tessa designs our polishes and wraps, and blends the house oils in small batches each week. Her after-sun ritual is a local summer favorite.
Thermal and sound host
Renee hosts the thermal suite and leads our sound and stillness sessions, guiding first-timers through the circuit with calm, practical care.
